Remember right around New Years I posted about
re-naming and re-designing my blog a bit? Well, my first attempt has proven to be pretty sad, as you can see. I also have a million things to do today. But since my membership hit fifty recently (thank you SO much for following me!), I decided I needed to give it a go. Here are the changes I've made:
- The name of the blog is now Green Legacy Farm, not Green Acres
- My name is Laura @ Green Legacy Farm, not Greenacresmama
- I've been (very unsuccessfully) messing around with layout
And here are the changes I plan on making as soon as I can figure out how:
- Ditch the tiger lilies for an uber-cool photo montage
- Change the URL to reflect the new name. This frightens me, because I don't want to lose you! Any advice on how to do this without sending my blog into a cyberspace black hole?
So for now, the URL is still greenacresmama.blogspot.com.
Thank you so much for being patient with me!
Laura, if you'd like some help on your blog, just shoot me an email through the "contact me" button on my blog....I love working with web design stuff.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amy! I will see if I get back to it today, but may very well take you up on that soon!
DeleteI think you can create a new blog with the new name and then export ALL your old content from this blog to the new blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anne - I will look into it. It also seems that I can change the URL address under "settings," which terrifies me.
DeleteThanks, too, for the link on dyslexia! Thinking there may be a bit of that going on and need to look into it more.
Please do not fall into that BLACK HOLE! I just found your blog and want to read it from the start and work my way to the present!
ReplyDeleteI have been a Homesteader for about 4 years now Raising Red Wigglers and Rabbits and soon to be Chickens. Trying to keep the deer out of the garden!
And living the dream!
I have just added your Blog to my list and know that I will learn so much from you!
So don't get lost and come see my Blog if you get the chance!
Tom
Thank you, Tom! Stopped by your blog and I'm glad to see that you raise worms! It's something we want to tackle one of these days.
